On Monday, it was exciting for me because it was the first day of Term 2. I couldn't wait to go to school. First I thought we were going to take our chromebooks home like usual but we didn't have homework. "No homework, no taking chromebooks home". That is what my teacher says ( well sometimes.)
There was an assembly that afternoon. I was very excited about it. It was about how we celebrate Anzac and only a few of my classmates from my school went to the Easter show. It was fabulous to be back at school.
I am a Year 8 student at Ruapotaka School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 12 and my teachers are Mrs Golder and Mr Reid.

A Celebration For Parents
On the 26th of May 2016
Whanau Hui
Yesterday we had a Chromebook celebration and my dad came into my room. I had to show him my work that I had made. I made a screencastify and showed him the class blog and the class site. I showed my dad my blog and the WeVideo that I made. I did a survey with my dad and introduced him to Mrs Grant and Yayleen Hubbard. After that my dad signed a bit of paper to bring my Chromebook home. Then my dad went to get a banana and I went to get some crackers with cheese and a juice box. It was great to take my Chromebook home. My internet at home was poor because it kept on going off and on, off and on.
