A Poem For A Soldier

On 25th April 2015, it was the 100th anniversary of ANZAC soldiers landing at Gallipoli.  We learnt lots of things about life and war for the ANZAC soldiers when we visited Auckland Museum in April.  We created poppies, we have written poems and letters about ANZAC and World War 1.

I have chosen to share my poem because I read it in front of the school. I have learnt that we wear poppies on ANZAC Day.

I have read your ANZAC poem for a soldier and I like how you took a photo of your own poem and posted it on your blog, instead of a screen shot of an image from the google. WELL DONE!

  2. Talofa, Saluselo! You created a thoughtful poem about ANZAC soldiers and read it to the whole school with confidence at our special ANZAC assembly in April.
